SARA has built three massive semi-closed greenhouses covering a site measuring about 18.3 hectares (45.2 acres). The Growing system in the Greenhouse for lettuce 2.3 hectares was built by Green Production Systems. The entire process, from planting the seed to harvesting, takes place in a controlled environment under one roof.
